Instructions
- To use this tool, enter one IP per line.
- End each line by pressing the
Enter
key so these are recognized as individual entries.
- Input must be in IPv4 format.
What is computed?
- The tool processes up to 10 IPs at once. Larger input sets will be resized to conform to this limit. This is done to avoid browser crashes as resolving IPs to countries is a slow process. To be on the safe side, you may want to try first with even smaller IP sets.
Who can use it?
- Data miners, investigators, or anyone interested in mining IP addresses.
Suggested Exercises
- Read the source of an email document. Then copy/paste and submit the mail server IPs utilized during the email transmission. Identify the locations of said servers with our tool.
- To identify the location of a server hosting a site or page, you may want to use first our MUST tool to get IPs.
- You may also do a ping or whois search and from the records, collect IPs. Identify their country locations with our tool.
- As done in the previous two exercises, use the tool to track down the locations of potential
- spammers
- hackers
- competitors
