- A YouTube user channel id is a sequence of characters that starts with "UC". These can be found by visiting a YouTube video page and checking the browser location, which should end with a user channel id. You may also do as follows:
- Visit
https://www.youtube.com/username
where username is a YouTube user name. The browser should redirect you to a video page. - Search in YouTube for a username and, in the search results page, click on a linked user name banner. If you click on a video, the browser will send you to a landing page; once there, you need to click on a linked user name banner. Either way, the browser should send you to a video page.
- Visit
- Please note that YouTube search results can list old video pages or that are not the official ones of a particular web site. Some of these might have been created by other users, too. For these reasons, we do not recommend the use of third-party tools that claim to return YouTube channel ids upon a username query. For instance, the following two channel ids return dissimilar results relevant to the WWE:
(a) UC2Oxk5J24C1gYhDWpRDNPlw
The former, (a), was obtained with a third-party tool by entering wwe as the username. The third-party tool returns the corresponding channel id, which features outdated results. By contrast, the latter, (b), was obtained by visiting the WWE site and identifying their channel id. Our tool uses (b).
(b) UCJ5v_MCY6GNUBTO8-D3XoAg - Therefore, and to be on the safe side, we recommend you to visit a site you are interested in and check if they feature or link to their official YouTube video page. You could search for (note the double quotes) "official youtube channel" + username, but you still need to look for the most recent and official video channels.
- To use our tool, submit the url of a YouTube video page or just a YouTube channel id. The tool will return a list of linked videos in a feed format.

- First time users may want to try the examples provided by pressing the Try This Example button. Repetitive pressing this button lets users cycle through several demo sessions. Users may also try some of the suggested channels.
- This tool generates a list of YouTube videos in a web feed format (Wikipedia, 2021; 2020). A web feed is a data format that provides users with frequently updated content. Users typically subscribe to a feed by manually entering its url in a browser, by following its link, or by dragging the link from the web browser to an aggregation platform. We developed this tool to simplify these tasks so there is no need for subscribing to a channel to watch its videos.
- Users that need to view videos without a subscription.
